To earn certification through the Monterey Bay Area Green Business Program, we underwent a rigorous process, including a comprehensive on-site evaluation of our shop, policies, and procedures. We met and exceeded U.S. and California state environmental regulations, proving our dedication to eco-conscious automotive repair.

As a green-certified repair facility, we take proactive steps to minimize pollution, conserve energy, and reduce waste. The impact of going green is measurable, with the Green Business Program reporting:

  • 170,000 tons of reduced greenhouse gas emissions annually
  • 3 million gallons of water saved
  • 25 million kWh of energy conserved
  • 6 million cubic yards of solid waste diverted from landfills

>> Installed spill-containment systems to prevent oil, coolant, and other fluids from entering the sewer system.

>> Adopted a paperless policy whenever possible to reduce unnecessary waste.

>> Recycling program in place to properly dispose of used parts, fluids, and packaging materials.

>> Installed low-flow faucets and toilets to conserve water.

>> Use drought-resistant landscaping with an environmentally sound drip-irrigation system to reduce water usage.

>> Capture stormwater runoff from our parking lot to prevent contaminants from entering storm drains that flow to the ocean.

>> Upgraded to energy-efficient LED lighting to reduce electricity consumption.
